Rae Featherstone (1907-1987)
Rae Featherstone was the appointed staff architect of the University between 1957-1972. He was an almunus of the Melbourne University Architectural Atelier and also a professor of the Architecture School under Brian Lewis. His role as the staff architect was to advise on University planning, and to work with variety of consultant private architects on individual projects. His office produced site layout landscaping of the Concrete Lawn and Architecture Building design and drawings.
Designed Redmond Barry Building in 1961.
