Questions We Asked & Responses Provided
In the background to the study we highlighted the many complexities facing visual art education. In navigating what Ewing (2010, p. 5) described as the ‘uneasy relationship between Arts and Education’, we felt it was important to have evidence to develop a position or point of view, in order to inform our work and an important step for visual art educators as well as policy makers.
In this study we selected issues that were at play in the field of education at the time to delve further into how these directly, and indirectly impact on visual art educators across Australia.
In the following section we outline the various questions we asked and present the participants responses.
