"...dad would've been 24, 25 in this photo, so still a young man himself... the sense of pride that we're both wearing the Blackfella shirt there in the greatest week of every year, which is NAIDOC Week."

"...I love looking at these photos ‘cause... it's history and... Victoria's Aboriginal community is so strong... when I look at these photos I just get real proud..."

"...I haven't seen Uncle Carl at a NAIDOC march since I was a baby. So... to see him walking with dad down the street, two staunch Clarke men... that's so deadly. ...[G]oing back to that photo before, my dad was 25 holding his firstborn son... Both wearing Blackfella shirts... that's gold for me."

Family in windcheaters

"I think it was so important for family... coming together and doing those marches as a family... I know we always look forward to it."

"And the other great thing about those early marches were all the t-shirts and the windcheaters that were... either given out or for sale at the Health Service... before people went on their march."

"...every year [there was] a different sort of t-shirt or windcheater."
