Composed for the celebrations held in Prague, 1723, surrounding the coronation of Charles VI and Elisabeth Christine as King and Queen of Bohemia. It is not known who the intended performers were, but they probably came from the private Kapelle of a Dresden- or Prague-based aristocratic patron.
Mus. 2358-N-9a. NB: Set of parts titled ‘Symphonia’ (hand of Johann Gottlieb Morgenstern?) to accompany the autograph score: Vno 1 Concertato; Vno 2 Concertato; Violoncello; Oboe Concertato ; Fagotto; Violino 1mo Rinforzato; Violino IIdo Rinforzato; Viola; Contra Basso. Part for Oboe II missing.
Unlisted in Musica senza nome dell’Autore (c1784) due to relocation to Schrank II.
