1. CZ-Pk 7451. Score copy (stamp: ‘Verein der Kunstfreunde für Kirchenmusik’)
2. CZ-Pnm III B 50. Score copies
• c1850 with stamps: Museum Regni Bohemiae; Dr ED. BAR. TOMÁSEK
• 1901 copy by Otto Horník. Stamp: Museum Regni Bohemiae.
See Kohlhase, ‘Der Dresdener Hofkirchenkomponist’, 177. Also Zelenka-Dokumentation, 302, ZWV 153.
On 30 January 1735 when August III, Maria Josepha and the court were in Poland, the Dresden Diarium Missionis reported that in Dresden three days of prayer for the Queen’s successful delivery had begun. This was Maria Josepha’s first pregnancy following her coronation as Queen of Poland in January 1734. In the DresdenCatholic court church two masses were said at 11 am in the presence of the Exposed Blessed Sacrament during which the Litaniae Omnium Sanctorum, newly composed by Zelenka, were sung in the choir. (‘Hora 11 dictae sunt duae missae coram exposito Venerabili, sub quibus in choro cantantur Litaniae de OO.SS. quas novas composuit D. Zelenka’).
This work probably existed as a dedication copy to Queen Maria Josepha. ‘Litaniae de Om Sanctis — Zelenka’ is the fourth listing in the Queen’s music catalogue (Bibl.-Arch. III Hb 787c) under No: II Musica di Chiesa di varii Autori.
In the ‘Catalogo della Musica di Chiesa’ (c1784) score and parts are listed under the heading Litaniae OOm SStorum (III/Z/17/8).
