Bound autogr. score. Parts are missing.
Title page (autogr.): No: 15 No: 2 (non-autogr.) | Litaniae | pro Festo Corporis Domini | à 4 Voc. | con Flaut. Travers | Hautbois en Chalmeaux | Violini etc: | 3 Bassoni | di Giov. Heinichen | 1727.
Side note: 1727 fatta 2. volte | 1728 nur einmahl. NB: Three bassoons are required in the tenor aria ‘Peccatores’ (marked ‘dolcemente’). Note also the term ‘Hautbois en Chalmeaux’ with the scoring, implying the use of oboes d’amore (not chaulmeaux).
During the years covered by the Diarium Missionis of the Dresden Jesuits (1712–1738) it is reported that Heinichen was responsible for the performance of the sacramental litanies during the Corpus Christi octave in 1722, 1723, 1724, 1725, and 1726. The margin notes ‘1727 fatta 2. volte/ 1728 nur einmahl’ on the title page of this work point to two performances in 1727 of Mus. 2398-D-30, and one in 1728. Dresden Jesuit sources do not mention these litanies being heard in either 1727 or 1728.
On this setting see Horn (Hkm, 81).
