This work post-dates Harrer’s departure from Dresden for Leipzig. It is one of the very few examples of an Italian oratorio (text Metastasio) listed into the Catalogo (1765).
The catalogue of Maria Josepha lists a libretto with this title under the heading ‘Poesien, von denen Oratoriis, welche von Wien übersendet werden’.
