Description
This is an image of a walking path near my home. This image was captured after I had completed my self-quarantine for two weeks.
Although this image may look ordinary, this was my first time strolling around the neighbourhood after being locked away for two weeks. This was a point of reflection for me: having the ability to step out of the house, breathe in the fresh air and take a stroll is a privilege at this moment. Now that we are heading towards a complete lockdown in Australia, I realised that I took these little things in life for granted. I do feel quite disheartened by this situation, but I know that this is for everyone’s safety and I know that this will be over in due time.
