Whilst I have had this desk for a number of years, I had rearranged some furniture prior to the semester starting so I can make a little study nook in my room. In previous years I did the bulk of my studying in the library, and home, particularly my bedroom (where the desk is) was a place of relaxation and leisure. Initially, I was worried as to how I would adapt to studying from home, particularly because I have always enjoyed on campus face-to-face classes, and have avoided online subjects. However, now that we have moved to an online method of teaching, this is where I spend most of my day, and whilst accustoming to it has been difficult, I am starting to enjoy this little space I have created amidst these uncertain times.
