Notes

Wilczynski's sketch captures the exotic jumble of Ohly's flat above the Berkley Galleries at 20 Davies Street, showing what looks to be an Aboriginal carved shield and a hand-drum hung over the fireplace amid a string of onions, and an aquarium and assorted bottles on the mantle-piece, flanked by a carved Madonna and child on the left and a Tibetan goddess on the right and with an American Indian dream-catcher hanging below.
