Nader Tehrani founded NADAAA in 2011. He was formerly Principal of NADAAA's predecessor, Office dA, which he established in 1986. In 2007, Tehrani became Professor and Head at the School of Architecture and Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and in 2010 he was made a Professorial Fellow in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning at the University of Melbourne. In 2009, Nader Tehrani was appointed to design the new building for the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning.
