According to a remark in his Inventarium, p. 14 (‘NB. specat ad Missa integra[e] sub num: IIII’) Zelenka took this Gloria setting into his now-missing Missa Spei (ZWV 5)—the fourth of his listings under the title ‘Missae integrae’.

Inventarium (Slaný: 1751). A mass in C attributed to ‘Zelinka’ is listed under Missae Breviores Nr. VII as: ‘Missa ex C. à C.A.T.B. Violinis 2bus, Clarinis 2bus et Tympanis necessariis Auctore Sigl. Zelinka.’ (No oboes are included. The only wind instruments listed in the collection of the Slaný Piarist college are four trumpets (Tubae Campestres), two horns (Litui), and wooden instruments for funerals (Tubuli lignii pro pompa funebri).
In the later ‘Catalogo della Musica di Chiesa’ (c1784) two scores and a set of parts are listed for [Messa:] No: 22) Gloria (III/Z/12/5). The scoring is given as: ‘à 4 voci co’ VVni. Oboi, Viola ed Org.’
