These sources are the remnants of musical directions for Matins (compiled by Schürer, 1756) as celebrated on Christmas Eve in the Dresden Hofkirche. A later copy (1814) of the Direzzione is held in Berlin: D-B Mus. ms. theor. Kat. 782, vol. 2.
