Remarks

Anonymous Laudate Dominum (F Major) missing. Provenance Zelenka. Perhaps this was the 6th Laudate Dominum listing in Zelenka’s ‘Psalmi varii’. See Zelenka-Dokumentation, 223. where the 6th entry (no tonality; ‘N:N:’) has this comment: ‘NB habetur in Laudate pueri Numero 10’. However, this Laudate pueri listing is in b minor, and no concordance is entered in these catalogues.
Stockigt, ‘Musica senza nome’, 45 (32.2).
In the ‘Catalogo della Musica di Chiesa’ (c1784) a score only is indicated for an anonymous setting of Laudate pueri (D Major). Incipit. (III/27/11).
This is one of six anonymous Vespers psalms in Zelenka’s Inventarium (all now missing) accompanied by the letters ‘P’ with the listing and ‘O.’ [Osek] in the margin.
On the identification of Josef Jan Ignác Brentner as author of this work, see Václav Kapsa, ‘On the Way from Prague to Wrocław', especially Table 3b, p. 287.
Concordances:
Two Laudate Dominum settings with incipits corresponding to this incipit given here are held in Prague:
