Zelenka held a complete cycle of a Vespers for a Confessor by Poppe, the choirmaster (Regens chori) of the Kreuzherren church in Prague: St Francis Seraphim.. Entered into his Inventarium (37/22) and the ‘Psalmi varii’ are two additional Vespers compositions composed by Poppe: Dixit Dominus and the Responsory Domine ad adjuvandum (bracketed together with the sign ‘P’). They are unlisted in the Catalogo of 1765. Also listed in ‘Psalmi varii’, Dixit Dominus listing Nr. 8, with the comment ‘NB praecedit Domine ad adjuvandu[m]’. Reproduced in Zelenka-Dokumentation, 221.
