Zelenka’s preparation of the performance materials for this mass led to these being attributed to him as the composer of Missa Mirabilium Dei. See III/Z/11/3.
This mass, attributed in the Catalogo (1765) to Contini, is now established as coming from the Imperial theorbo player and composer, Francesco Conti. Zelenka also listed a mass setting titled S. Caroli Borromei by Conti (also with the mark ‘Oss’) into his Inventarium (7/25, missing from Dresden and unlisted in the Catalogo (1765).
Incipits given in Zelenka-Dokumentation, 54, Nr. 85. Horn (Die wichtigsten Schreiber, 164) identifies the copyist of Mus. 2190-D-2) as ZS O[.

Nur wenn die Instr. von späterer Hd. hinzugesetzt wären, könnte man sie obigem C. zuschreiben, sonst. müssten sie von einem späteren Komponisten herrühren. Die 2. Messe, Ms. 69, deren Titelbl. Zelenka’s Hd. aufweist, trägt die Bez. „super Mirabilium Dei“.
