Remarks

This missing source (comprising parts only) was almost certainly the basis for the work shown in the previous listing named Missa dicta Reformata: (I/C/6/6; Mus. 2170-D-8). This missing set of parts (eight, were once held, according to the SLB card catalogue) might be the original Dresden source from which Zelenka’s copyist prepared a score which then became the basis of Zelenka’s version of the Mass made to suit musical conditions of the Dresden Catholic court church at that time. The incipit given for this listing is the original vn. 1 part in bar 1 of Mus. 2170-D-8. See I/C/6/6.
