Part books are for Canto; Alto; Tenore; Basso; Alto R; Tenore R; Basso R; Canto Viola; Alto Viola; Violone ò Tiorba; Organo. The part for Canto R (listed by Eitner) is now missing. These part books have the same appearance as sets of the part books for Bissoni’s 4. Missa brevi (Mus. 2361-D-1)—repertoire sung by the Kapellknaben ensemble of Dresden’s Catholic court church. Bassani’s ‘ordinary’ setting of the Requiem mass must have been performed on numerous occasions by the Kapellknaben.
