Remarks

Score copies (mainly in Zelenka’s hand) of Miserere settings by Allegri and Palestrina. No parts accompany these scores in SLUB. (But see II/P/8/8).
Cover to score (red pencil. F. A. Schubert?): Miserere di Palestrino Originale | un Pezzo raro.
Title page (hand of Zelenka): Miserere à 2 Cori | Si canta alternativa= | =mente. | Originale.
Caption title (pp. 2–3): Miserere à 2 Cori (Allegri).
Caption title (p. 5): Secundus Chorus (Palestrina).
Caption title (p. 6): Miserere del S: Allegri.

At the conclusion of the score: Secundus Chorus seq: | alternative Sempre.
Horn (Hkm, 107–08) points out that this is an incomplete source of Allegri’s legendary setting of c1640, composed for the exclusive use of the Sistine chapel. Zelenka’s source contains the four-part model only, originally designed for verses 3, 7, 11, 15, and 19 of his setting of ps. 50.
A source with the Catalogo label of c1784 is held in the Russian State Library in Moscow. The materials discussed by Maria Sawinkova in her presentation (Zelenka Conference: Prague, 2018) include the label in the hand of Carl Gottlob Uhle: Lit A. Schranck No: I | 1. Fach 5. Lage | Miserere | à 4 voci. e 2. Cori alternanti | Parti cav: senza Partitura | del Sigr. Allegri | incipit.
An oval stamp, which may be that of the BIBLIOTHECA MUSICA REGIA, is almost obliterated.
