It showcases some of the most important items in the collection and demonstrates, with its long history, the contribution that Burnley Gardens has made to education and the Australian community.

The Seeds of Burnley: A Growing Community

1 Cover.JPG

The Seeds of Burnley: A Growing Community offers an exploration of Burnley’s past student cohorts to highlight how the campus is an important fixture in the local Victorian community. The exhibition begins with student-led movements of community building through school councils and international exchange programs before exploring how staff and alumni have supported the diverse range of students that enter Burnley’s gates. The photographs and documents chosen for this exhibition illustrate the kind and supportive community that Burnley has cultivated over its long history. proving that the campus is more than just a university.
