Shadow-puppet-maker and animator Lotte Reiniger is seen working at a table, outdoors in the garden, at the Abbey Art Centre, New Barnet. She is seen cutting out a figure in black paper. A small, hand-painted toy theatre stands on a low brick wall to her right. Papers, scissors and wire are strewn across the table before her. Reiniger wears her trademark turban, glasses, open-necked shirt and long skirt.
