Notes
Commissioned by architect Franz Thyriot (1869–1934) who designed the Schillerschule in Franfurt-Fechenheim in 1907–08, on which basis the work has been dated. The Schillerschule was destroyed in the air raids on Frankfurt am Main in 1944 and was rebuilt after the war. The relief is believed to have destroyed during the war.
