8020. Chandler, A. May 9. / Nails; hooks.- The nail or clip is for use for training trees and plants on walls, fences, &c. and for supporting and securing pipes and electric conductors. The nail or hook consists of a strong shank B with a collar C, upon which is casted or pressed the thickened end D' of the head D the bearing face of which is preferably convex. The head is of lead or soft metal so as to be readily bent by the fingers.
