Description

Machine-pressed brick of light brown-coloured clay, flecked throughout with black. Rectangular frog with screw-impressions at either end.
Impressed marks: 'CAMPBELL/(two screw marks)/BRISBANE' within a deep oval-shaped frog.

Slight chipping overall

Found in 1980 the grounds of 1 Alexandra Road, Ascot, Brisbane; area had been a creek prior to c.1900 and was not built on until 1980.
