Remarks
Bound autogr. score (incomplete). Blue -grey cover.
Cover title: D (left) Nro 2da (right) | Kyrie Sanctus | et | Agnus | à 4 | C:A:T:B: | Violini 2 | Oboe 2 | Viole 2 | et | [Basso Continuo] | di | Giovanni Disma Zelenka.
The score finishes after bar 2 of ‘Dona nobis pacem’, which begins with the motif used for Kyrie II, an indication that a repetition was to take place with replacement of text.
See Zelenka-Dokumentation, 289, ZWV 26.
In the later, undated ‘Catalogo della Musica di Chiesa’ (c1784) score only is listed for [Messa:] No: 28) Kyrie, Sanctus, Agnus (III/Z/13/1). The scoring of the Kyrie is given as: ‘à 4 voci co’ VVni. Vla. 3 Tromboni ed Org.’; the scoring of the Sanctus and Agnus is: ‘à 4 voci co’ VVni. Viola ed Org.’
RISM refers to Zelenka-Dokumentation and Horn as identifying these three movements as being those of the revised Kyrie, Sanctus and Agnus of Missa Judica me (ZWV 2). See III/Z/11/1.
