L.’ (Violino I) refer to Signor [Carl Matthias] Lehneis, former violin scholar of the Dresden Hofkapelle who succeeded Francesco Maria Cattaneo (d.1758) as concertmaster of the Dresden ‘Capell-und Cammer-Music’ (as it was titled in the HStCal for 1765) after the Seven Years’ War (1756–63).
Each single sheet has the caption title ‘Lauda Jerusalem’.
