The Diarium of the Dresden Jesuits frequently reports the singing on Palm Sunday of the antiphon Pueri Hebraeorum. For example, on 18.4.1734 (Palm Sunday) it reported: ‘Ad majus altare benedictio palmarum in silentio, Chorus tum cantat: Hosanna, et Pueri Hebraeorum.’ (At the high altar the silent Benediction of the Palms. The chorus then sings Hosanna, and Pueri Hebraeorum).

In the ‘Catalogo della Musica di Chiesa’ (c1784) a score is listed for the ‘Antiphonae et Passiones Hebdomadae S. Pueri Hebraeorum’. (III/26/11).
