Zelenka heavily reworked this score.
Zelenka held a complete Vespers cycle by Poppe, the choirmaster (Regens chori) of the Kreuzherren church in Prague: St Francis Seraphim. Entered together into the Inventarium (37/22) and into the ‘Psalmi varii’ are two additional Vespers psalms composed by Poppe: Dixit Dominus and the Response Domine ad adjuvandum (with ‘P’). These works are unlisted in the Catalogo of 1765. See ‘Psalmi varii’, Dixit Dominus listing No 6, with the comment ‘NB praecedit Domine ad adjuvandu[m]’ and in Zelenka-Dokumentation, 221. Horn identifies the copyist as ZS O (‘Die wichtigsten Schreiber’, 164).
