Cover title (hand of Zelenka?): Orlandini | 21 Aria (added later?) | Orlandini (added later?).
NB: The incipit given in the Catalogo (1765) does not agree with any aria in this collection (Mus. 2443-K-1). Perhaps it comes from one of the now-missing instrumental parts for either aria No. 12 or 20. With the exception of No. 14, these da capo arias are written as short scores for vocal soloist[s] with mainly unfigured bass, and occasional instructions for instrumentation.

Johannes Ágústsson, in ‘The Secular Vocal Collection of Jan Dismas Zelenka’, 42, notes that these 21 arias by Orlandini, once thought to be secular, are actually sacred items. They come from Orlandini’s oratorio Il figliuol prodigo, and from another, as yet unidentified, oratorio.
