A second wrapper is kept with this source. Title: Per Mons. Pasqualino | Mottetto a Voce Sola di Contralto | del Sigl Adolfo Hasse. This remark implies that Hasse’s motet Quando Jesu was sung by the Italian alto castrato, Pasquale Bruscolini (known as Pasqualino) who, according to Fürstenau (II, 280), arrived in Dresden on 6 March 1753.
Additional parts: Mus. 2477-E-37,2: Set of 20 parts with wrapper. RISM ID no. 270000337. This wrapper (‘Stimmensatz Quando Jesus est in corde’: Mus.2477-E-37,2) is reproduced by Landmann in Drei Studien, Abb. I.59, p. 257. Note the similarity of this wrapper with the wrapper for a mass by Riepel: II/R/16/17.
Mus. 2477-E-37,3: Set of 6 parts with wrapper. RISM Id no. 270000338.
In the later, undated ‘Catalogo della Musica di Chiesa composta di Giov: Adolfo Hasse’ parts only are listed (Motet No. 16: Fach 13; Lage 4, changed to [Amaro] VI 4,3). There, the scoring is given as ‘à Alto solo co’ VVni. Ob: Viola ed Organo.’
