Although this catalogue of 1765 lists only two liturgical and one secular items by Gasparini, several further sacred works are held by SLUB today. Pisendel is connected with some of these, a hint that perhaps these items were collected for his personal library during his visit to Venice in 1715 where he became a student of Antonio Vivaldi. (Although Gasparini had left the Ospidale della Pietà two years before Pisendel’s arrival, it is noted that Vivaldi was engaged for the Pietà by Gasparini).
