Apart from the caption ‘Sanctus’ (page 1) and the agreement of incipit of the Catalogo with bars 1-2, vn. 1, there is no indication on the source that this work was composed by Galuppi. The instrumentation layout given in the score is for ob. 1,2; vn. 1,2; ‘Violetta’; Soprano Imo; Soprano IIdo; Contralto; Tenore; Basso; Organo. The addition of two oboes reflects Dresden scoring.
