Remarks
Score and parts missing from Dresden.
In his Inventarium Zelenka listed this four-part mass under Nr. 38 in place of a mass by Johann Friedrich Fasch, a work also missing from Dresden.
This mass by Eberlin seems to have been lost in recent times, because Eitner listed a Dresden source (‘Messa, à 4 voci. 2 V. Va. ed org’) in the entry ‘Eberlin’. (But perhaps he was taking his information from the eighteenth century catalogues).
On this work, see Horn (Hkm, 184).
