This work was first copied in Vienna in 1717 by Philipp Troyer for Zelenka’s music collection in four volumes: Collectaneorum Musicorum Libri Quatuor, Liber III, 325–6 (See Mus. 1-B-98: III/ 37/2).
On this, the later copy, Zelenka figured the bass line. His reworking took place some time after late 1725-early 1726 . The lack of initials or a first name for the composer Bernabei led Eitner to attribute this work to Vincenzo Bernabei. However, Wolfgang Horn (Hkm, 130–31) attributes the setting to Guiseppe Antonio Bernabei, and identifies the copyist as ZS 0 (c1725–early 1730s).
Incipit given in Zelenka-Dokumentation, 49, Nr. 44.
