"Claes the Miller, one thing we must ask you: these fur clothes you are wearing, can you wear them in good conscience?" "These fur clothes I am wearing, they were given to me by a beautiful maiden; surely she will give me more of them." They gave him coins in his hand: "Claes the Miller, you must abandon the area, You must now leave Brunswick!" "Farewell, Brunswick, farewell my country!
