Ihr seyt jung / alt arm oder reich
warvon ich euch wil singen
deß nem ein jeder wol in acht
Sein seligkeit gar wol betracht
wie ich euch jetzt will singen.
Es ist wol zu beklagen schwer
daß der Teufel regiret sehr
in disen letzten tagen
man wird mirs aber glauben nicht
daß ich die Warheit thu bericht
last euch die warnung sagen.
Im Land zu Hessen ligt ein Statt
Eschwein sie den Namen hat
thet sich die geschicht begebe'
ein Mörder wurd gefangen bracht
von Wandfriden in guter acht
Bartel Langenfeld hieß er mit Namen.
